4483186_s_123rfCan you believe its October already? I have no idea where the summer went! It seems it was just the end of July!

I had minor surgery at the end of July to remove a lipoma (fatty growth) from my upper arm. I had it removed almost 20 years ago and it grew back. I decided to get it removed again after a serendipitous conversation with a friend who works in the radiation department at a local hospital. She mentioned that the body scanners at the airports are the equivalent of getting a PET scan (full body scan often used to detect cancer). My internal alarms started going off because the last few times I had been through the airport that scanner had alerted security to the place on my upper arm where the lipoma was, causing them to pat down the area! I made an appointment with the surgeon the very next day! I knew it was time for it to come out.

Those of you who know me, know that I practice mind body awareness and have been a body worker for many years. A few years ago I had a conversation with this little fatty tumor and asked it how it was serving me (yes, you can dialogue with your body and get answers from it). It responded that it was protecting my organs by storing the toxins that my body was unable to release yet. I said “Cool! Thank you!”

So I am celebrating that, since I got the message it was time for it to go, I must no longer need it. Yay! I must be less toxic! Woo hoo!

Seriously though, here’s the thing I want you to take away from sharing this story with you:

Life is always supporting us. We always get what we need. We just need to pay attention to the messages and be willing to act on them. We need to be willing to receive. To change.

What messages are you ignoring today? Are you willing to honor the guidance you are receiving? You have to be willing to pay attention as it often comes as a whisper, an “inkling”.

No worries though because if we miss it at that stage it becomes stronger, louder – in order to get our attention.

The Universe/ God/ Source is answering our prayers all the time. Even if you don’t actively ask or “pray”, the deep, inner desires we have are streaming constantly – emitting from us like a radio signal – attracting the circumstances and opportunities to have those desires met. It is our job to become aware, trust, open, align, recognize and receive.

Trusting, having faith, is often the most difficult part, especially when what we attract does not appear to be related to what we asked for. The answer to a prayer often comes in a non-logical, non-linear way. I have learned to trust that everything I need comes to me exactly when I need it. I also learned that it’s easy to miss it if you’re not paying attention, or if you have a fixed idea of what it should look like and how it should come to you! Lol!

My hearts desire is true wealth. To live in my ‘million dollar zone’ of true abundance, joy and ease. I affirm that “All of life comes to me with ease, joy and glory!” and this seemingly serendipitous conversation, which led me to taking action to remove the lipoma, was a fine example of that!

I’d love to hear some of your stories of the serendipitous ways that you have received guidance or answers to your prayers.
